Subjects of use

Children 2 years and older and adults (including the elderly)

Usage

Children 2 years and older and adults (including the elderly): Instill 1 or 2 drops in each affected eye, up to 6 times a day or more if necessary. Liver failure, renal failure: Videtrol Sterile Ophthalmic Suspension has not been studied in these groups. However, because the active ingredients are only absorbed in small amounts into the general circulation after ocular administration, no dose adjustment is necessary.
Usage: For eye drops only, do not drink or inject.
Shake the vial thoroughly before using. After opening the cap, if the securing strap attached to the cap becomes loose, remove it before using. To avoid contamination of the dropper tip and drug suspension, do not let the dropper tip come into contact with the eyelids, the area around the eye, or any other surface. Patients should gently close the eyelids and block the nasolacrimal duct after instillation to reduce drug absorption into the general circulation and reduce systemic unwanted effects.
